Fabric & Fiber Sale
From the Library:
Woods Hole Public Library volunteers will be holding their eagerly awaited Fabric & Fiber Sale on Sunday, February 8, from 10 a.m, to 2 p.m. People come from far and wide, first to donate, and later to buy fabric, yarn, notions, and much more. This one day event is a major source of fundraising for the Library’s operating budget, and the generosity of both donors and shoppers are crucial to its success.
Donations for the sale have been pouring in since the beginning of January. Among this year’s treasures are a large collection of trimmings for upholstery projects, many sewing machines, tabletop looms, rug hooking materials, quilting and knitting books, vintage textiles, luxery yarns, and much more. As usual, there is an abundance of quilting cotton, decorator fabrics, and fleece of all colors and patterns. Along with notions, knitting needles, and a veritable rainbow of workhorse acrylic yarns, there is truly something to delight every crafter.
